[Software Development Manager, Energy Trading System]
Manage full life-cycle product development and implement streamlined software development methodology for energy derivatives trading & risk system based on Java, J2EE, JMS and EJB within a JBoss application server environment. Lead, mentor, and coach team of application developers to continue building new functionality and enhancements to existing product. Review and advise on software development artifacts including architecture, component design, code, and test scripts. communicate with business users such as traders and risk managers regarding system and functionality requirements. Recommend innovative solutions and identify areas for system improvements. Develop product roadmap, release schedules, and rollout plans, and creat3e prototypes, mock-ups and other material to support sales team. Ensure timely completion of development projects within established budgets. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field +5 years of experience in the job or related occupation. Must have at least 3 years experience in developing energy derivative trading systems utilizing Java within a JBoss/J2EE environment & technical experience in energy derivative analytics and valuation techniques and object oriented database systems.
